Beginning as a child wandering the woods, streams, and fields of Chester, NY, I was always most comfortable in the quiet expanse of nature. In 2013 I was WWOOFing and volunteering on farms across Europe. This experience changed my life dramatically, cementing my independence and opening my eyes to different ecosystems and the threads that seem to connect them all.

Upon returning home to the Hudson Valley, I began gardening professionally and eventually became a founding member of a local landscaping worker owned cooperative.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of stewarding the land, watching forest edges come back to life after new construction, witnessing trees and gardens I planted grow, thrive, and naturalize, bringing pollinators and birds to the blossoms and berries.

I’ve learned so much from watching the cycles, witnessing the impact we as humans can have for both good and bad.

At the end of 2023 I was called to follow my own path and move at my own pace to build resilience and sustainability in my life and for those around me, and started my own business, Wild Indigo Landscaping, LLC.

Biodiversity is the name of the game, in all things.
